Hi Everyone,
I will be sharing this post at The Mom Creative – Project Life Tuesday
Once again I thought that I wouldn’t have much to document this week, however:
- A tornado struck our town
- Huge amounts of rain
- A State election and new Premier
- A health scare and some medical tests
I have been really busy (and worried) this week so did not get a chance to do much embellishing or journaling onto the photos. I am just pleased that the week is finished (in more ways than one).

The inserts:
This is a “Design A” page protector trimmed down to fit 3 photos.
This is a news article I took from the internet. I cut and paste until it fit on 2 sheets and then popped it into an A4 page protector.
I journaled onto a tag that was included in a parcel I got this week.
I’m looking forward to a quieter (and less stressful) week this week.
Thanks for looking.
Sharon.

Hi Sharon – what a hectic and stressful week you have had! Firstly, I want to say that I’m glad that you got the all clear from your health scare.
As always, your pages are great. I love how you manage to include big picture/political/local news – I must try to do more of that and give context to my pages.
That photo of Paige with your glasses on is so adorable!

Thanks Jules – a health scare is worrying but I think it is worse when you are a single parent, BUT I have got the all clear so it is onwards from here.
Thanks for looking. ๐

what a great idea to trim the design A, I haven’t done that yet. I hope you and your family and okay…I can’t imagine. We had warnings the other night but everything turned out okay. Your pages look great!

Thanks for looking! We are all fine – a tornado is really unusual for us, we usually get big Cyclones/Hurricanes here.

Looks fantastic! shame about the shop closing, obviously something new coming your way ๐ Love all the extra’s you have added ๐
sharon71 said:
Thanks for looking Trudie. It was actually my good friends shop where we all met up for a weekly crafternoon – we will just have to find a new venue. ๐

Isn’t it funny how that works – just when we think we have nothing to archive, we wind up with all sorts of things. Love your pages.

I cant believe you slept through it either! Those poor people and their homes… Hopefully all this rain has gone for good. I am struggling for things for last week and I totally forgot about the election… looking forward to next week

Thanks for looking Nat, I don’t know how I missed these comments from last week.
I was exhausted after working a few nightshifts – nothing was going to wake me apparently ๐

I am sad about the shop closing. It actually belonged to one of my good friends and she decided to close to move on to bigger and better things.
