Hi,
Well it has been a while since I’ve done a Project Life post. Happy New Year!!
I am still about 4 weeks behind on 2012 but will hopefully get them up to date in the near future.
This year I am using the Seafoam kit (love it), and I found out yesterday that my subscription to Studio Calico Project Life kits will be on it’s way for February. I want my pages to have a lighter look this year and I think that these 2 kits with the help of my Silhouette Cameo that I will get that look.
Here is the title page, I will be adding more to it when I get some more photos.
Week 1 started quietly with an afternoon at the beach with my friend Sarah from Documenting Chaos and her family. The end of the week was busy for us – Miss Paige turned 4 and I threw her a big party at the local pool.

Sharon

I think your weeks are great. Simple, beautiful and done! I like how you have included a photo of yourself. I’m going to try and do more of that too. Paige is just gorgeous and I love the photo that has the ‘dear time…” plea. xxx
Thanks Jodie. They ARE done but I think I will be adding a little bit more to them. The ‘dear time…’ words were perfect for the photo, she is growing up to fast
I am going to get myself into the album a lot more this year.
Looks great. Love the “dear time” quote. I like the B&W touch too!
Well done.
Thanks Petra
I like to do a few B&W photos – they are very forgiving.
I like it Sharon – the photos are great and they stand out so well against the simple backgrounds. Love that you put the double tantrum in…:D
The double tantrum was ridiculous!! I should have taken a photo of that too
I really do like the kit – it has a nice ‘light’ feel to it.
This is so beautiful Sharon, love everything about your pages!! Simple is PERFECT….. sometimes we add too much and we forget about the photos which is what it’s all about!! can’t wait to see the rest of the year will be following your journey every week!! Love xox

HI Jo, thanks for looking. The “dear time” quote is an Ali Edwards one from Designer Digitals. She has some great one. Use anything you like

Just love what you do Sharon. Yes love the black and white and that Hip Hip font. Love it all.
Thanks Tina, you are too kind
Very fun pages! Love the Hooray birthday photo!!
Thanks for looking
Love your pages as usual! Glad to see your back with your PL:) I just finished volume one with shutterfly, and next week plan on getting together week number two….so I am not behind–but December Daily? Ha! I got to day 18 and then got sick and never finished anything. I really should as I have done the project for years…but I am just not in the mood!!! I was going to ask about the time quote–but see you pointed out where to find it. LOVE!!
Hi Heather! Thanks for dropping by, I have been very slack with the blogging. Congratulations on the the BH Creative Team gig, I was so pleased for you when I saw that.
Was it you that asked me about that hexagon quilt? I can send you a scan if you are still interested.
Sharon, it’s all so beautiful and captures the celebration beautifully. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! x
Thank you Betty! It was such a great day and Paige loved it.
I love that fireworks photo with the 2013 – looks amazing!
I have to confess that I didn’t take that one, I got it from Google images
I love it, too! Now I might need to scour google images!
I know I say it ALL the time but I just LOVE your pages…… In particular your use of bits and pieces from life
It’s nice to be able to include the extra bits and pieces. Thanks for looking
Fabulous pages Sharon! Happy Birthday to Miss Paige, she looks like she had a great time at her party. I know what it’s like to have a 4 year old – my little boy just turned 4 last month! Can’t wait to see your next lot of pages
Thank you so much Kylie
4 is such a delightful age, she had an amazing time.
Beautiful layouts! I love the “Dear Time” overlay. Really fantastic!
Thanks Cerise, the overlay was just perfect for that day.
Love your layouts Sharon! Im using Seafoam too, and I love seeing how well it coordinates with your photos, I can’t wait to actually start on my 2013 album (I was waiting to finish 2012 first).
Hi Tamara, I have 4 weeks to finish off for 2012 buy I just couldn’t wait to get started. The Seafoam is lovely – very subtle. Thanks for dropping by
Love your pages! I love that Ali quote – I keep wishing that too.
Thanks Sue, it would be great if we could slow everything down for a little while
I love your pages too, and I can’t wait to see how you will use your Studio Calico PL kit, since I’m a subsriber too and I’d love to take some inspiration from you!!!
Thank you for dropping by. I am a little bit excited about getting my SC kit. Hopefully it won’t take too long to arrive here in Australia.
Great pages! I have a Silhouette SD that I’ve never really used in the 2 years I’ve had it. The top of my to-do list for the year is to learn the ins and outs of it, so that I can use it on my PL spreads!
I am still learning the Cameo, I think the cutouts will really add something to the pages. Thanks for looking.
Great job! I love all the digital elements you’ve added! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!
