My little SN@P album is nearly full to capacity, I was going to do the whole of December but will be stopping on Christmas day now.
A couple of preprinted cards and a freebie of the North Pole from Becky Higgins.
Postcard from Santa – very exciting!!
What Christmas/Summer looks like here – bright!!
Stable on the Strand is an event put on by the combined churches in my town. They have a Town of Bethlehem that you can walk around with lots of people in costume and farm animals for the children. It is quite lovely. The event is held in a large park that fronts on to the beach – The Strand, Townsville.
The Strand, Townsville, Queensland, Australia.
A brochure – hole punched and placed in the middle.
My Paige on the Teacup ride (of Bethlehem?) and Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus in the Stable. I cut the stable and animals out with the Silhouette Cameo. We had a great time wandering around. Paige patted every animal she saw – sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, camels, piglets and chickens. She was a little disappointed to find out there was no baby alligator.
The whole event is really well done, it is obviously a religious event but it is not over the top and everyone is welcome. The have a few rides for the kids and food stalls so it almost has a fair-like atmosphere, we will continue to go every year.
Only 5 days to go – will I be able to squeeze them all into my album?
